Wow when I stayed up ’till seven in the morning I knoticed that they had the Live 8 thing going on and unfortunately it went on for over 12 freakin’ hours. DAM. You actually would think that this big ass world wide concert is good for a cause but what the hell is this thing for? I honestly thought that this scheme was to actually raise money for the people living in poverty in Africa. You would think its all good but then they have controversy like everything else and there were protestors. When I first saw them I was like, wow they have people protesting about helping Africa. Then I actually started to pay attention and I watched the news. To my surprise this big as ’round the world freakin’ concert is JUST TO RAISE AWARENESS of the poverty living in Africa. What a dumb way to do it though. Then i realize that the protestors were protesting against the concert. Seriously they have all these big acts and groups and artists performing infront of 3 billion people but the whole dilemma is, is that people are being sucked into the concerts soooooo much that they don’t even know about the main reason behind the concert which I think is pretty stupid. There hasn’t been enough coverage of the awareness and instead most to all of the coverage has been directed to what groups are performing. I think its stupid! Don’t you? hahahahahahahhahahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaa….to bad Sum 41 wasn’t invited to play, they are much more suitable to play than Good Charlotte or Simple Plan. Ya and what happened to Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, and Avril Lavigne or Apocalyptica….the last one Apocalyptica lol. theyarer doing a festival now. SWEET THEY AR ECOMING SEPT 17!
I like the thought that that the artists that performed in Barrie got nothing. Its pretty good cause the artists performing in New York got nice $12 000 gift bags. Its so gay though cause the 12 000 could have been used to help feed, clothe and shelter at least three children in AFrica, not to mention paying for their education for a whole year. Man if I got a gift bag that much, I would have sold everything and then buy a guitar. heh.
oh well wutever. Can’t believe I missed Green Day’s performance.
